How did you come to NHC?
Joe and Pastor Doug were friends since Jr. High School and when he came to Brea to pastor NHC he asked us to come and visit. At the time we were attending Ev Free of Fullerton, but one Sunday in April of 1994 we came to a service. That week in the mail we received a copy of the schedule and saw we were to be greeters the following Sunday (Easter Sunday, no less!). We quickly went from guests to members.

What is your role at NHC?
Leading the elementary children at NHC.

What is the best part about your role?
Hanging out with the kids and sharing God's Word and His love for them and seeing young teens and adults I taught years ago at NHC serving God alongside me.

Who is your favorite character in the biblical story? Why? How do you identify with him/her?
Oh wow, I can identify with many different ones depending on the week. Currently I would have to pick Moses. Far from perfect, spent time in the desert, is sure he is too old and lacks certain qualifications to be used by God, but is called back to the ministry....yep, sounds just like me.

Who are your favorite sports teams?
Corban University (Oregon) Girls Soccer duh! Oh, and the Angels.

Who is your favorite musical artist or group?
So many I love....only one, huh? Sanctus Real it is then.

What were you like in junior high?  Why?
Sporty and studious...why? Uhhh, my family was active and we all ran every morning before school and I loved school, so it was easy to study.

If you could choose your last meal on earth, what would it be?  Why?
Rib eye, medium rare....yummy bread, maybe garlic?....frozen yogurt with toppings....just some of my favorites.

What makes you laugh?
Jeff Allen "Happy Wife, Happy Life".

What makes you cry?
An easier question would be "what DOESN'T make you cry?" LOL...
Going to Hallmark and seeing cards for "mom" or "grandma," I tear up most every time kids are singing in church, or giving testimonies....seeing someone I haven't seen in a long time, pretty much any movie I watch, and some commercials, every episode of Little House on the Prairie, chopping onions (though I can't eat them).
