How did you come to NHC?
We received a flyer in the mail inviting us to see “The Passion of
the Christ” at the local theater with NHC. We decided to check out the
church since it was so close to our home.

What is the best part about your role?
What is the best part about your role?
I get to work with folks that love the Lord and I get to see
first-hand how God is “moving and shaking” the people that attend NHC.
Who is your favorite character in the biblical story? Why? How do you identify with him/her?
David – He loved God. He was so human. His sins were recorded so that we could know, beyond a doubt, that God loves the sinner that repents. David loved to cry, sing and dance before the Lord. I love the liberty that David had in his relationship with God. I can identify with him on this level.

What were you like in junior high? Why?
What were you like in junior high? Why?
I moved to California from a very little town in Pennsylvania, just
as I was starting Jr. High. I was very shy and felt like a hillbilly.
If you could only have one book to read (other than the Bible), what would it be? Why?
At the beginning of every New Year, I start a new daily devotional. This helps me to faithfully read God’s Word everyday.

If you could choose your last meal on earth, what would it be? Why?
Fried chicken, corn, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad and
homemade bread & butter. My mom makes the best ever. I was raised
on this food and it reminds me of being young again and not caring about
all the calories.
What makes you laugh?
What makes you laugh?
My husband and my daughter; they have the same sense of humor. When they are together; everyone is laughing.
What makes you cry?
What makes you cry?
I cry all the time, even when I’m laughing. The best tears are
when I am in the presence of my Heavenly Father; that He should love me
so much……it makes me weep.
